Channel on Jalan A Gang XII Being Normalized

Some 15 personnel under the Sawah Besar Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Executing Unit, Central Jakarta have starting normalizing the water channel on Jalan A Gang. XII, RT 03/08, Karang Anyar Urban Village.
This is done to handle flooding at the location when it rains
Sawah Besar Sub-district SDA Executing Unit Head, Yusuf Sumardani said, it was carried out, as the channel was damaged and also aimed to follow up on residents' aspirations that were conveyed through the Musrenbang.
"This channel has 120 meters length. Initially, it had around 40 centimeters depth with 30 centimeters width. After being normalized, it will be deepened up to 80 centimeters with 40 centimeters width," he expressed, Tuesday (1/4).
Channel on Jalan Danau Sekawi Normalized by Tanah Abang SDA UnitKarang Anyar Urban Village Acting Head, Arif Lingga Pratama added, it was targeted to be completed within two months ahead.
"This is done to handle flooding at the location when it rains," he said.
By doing so, he hoped that it could optimally drain water in resolving flooding problem.
